Dr. Edstrom's office is located in the medical professional building directly adjacent to Rhode Island Hospital and includes an in-office operating suite.

If a hospital setting is determined appropriate or beneficial for a procedure, a pedestrian skywalk connects Dr. Edstrom's office and the Hospital and keeps patients and services all within a three-minute walk.

As Surgeon-in-Chief and Director of the Plastic Surgery Program at Lifespan and Rhode Island Hospital and as Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Brown University School of Medicine and as a practicing surgeon, Dr. Edstrom has developed a close connection with the staff and medical professionals of Rhode Island Hospital.

Dudley Street Operatory

The Dudley Street Operatory is where Dr. Edstrom performs most of his procedures. This is a fully accredited ambulatory operating room which combines the best of both worlds: it is a pleasant, discrete, private facility which at the same time is part of the Rhode Island Hospital campus, with all the safety advantages therewith.

Our staff will make you feel comfortable and safe from the time you’re admitted to the time you’re driven away. You will really appreciate the personal attention possible in such a facility.

Office Hours

Patients are seen by appointment only. To schedule an appointment call our main office at (401) 331-2303. Our office hours are 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. We attempt to schedule our appointments at intervals to maintain a relaxed atmosphere and to minimize waiting. If you anticipate being late for your appointment, please call as soon as possible and we will be happy to accommodate you!

Emergencies

In the event that you require emergency care or have urgent problems, staff can be reached 24 hours a day by calling our office (401) 331-2303. During off hours, an answering service will provide you with the system to contact the particular staff member on call. One of our staff is available for you 24 hours each day.

Convenient Parking

From 95N, take the Thurbers Avenue Exit (#18) and take the left fork onto Thurbers Avenue West. Take the first right at the light onto Eddy Street. Continue about 1 mile to Blackstone Street. Follow signs to public parking.

From 95S, take the Eddy Street Exit (#19) and bear left. At the light, take a left onto Eddy Street and the first right onto Blackstone Street. Follow signs to public parking.
